Asenso Pinoy Tv Show

Asenso Pinoy is the Philippine's leading television program promoting positive values and entrepreneurial mindset that was hailed the “2010 Best Culture and Arts Program for Television” in the 19th KBP Golden Dove Awards and 2008 Best Business Feature for Television at Catholic Mass Media Award.

This program has been in the forefront of public service for the last six years. Asenso Pinoy is a 30-minute tele-magazine program airing every Saturday, 10:30 a.m. and every Sunday, 12:30 p.m. on NBN Channel 4, a government Tv station in the Philippines hosted by Mr. Francis Cardona.

Asenso Pinoy presents livelihood information, including the latest technological breakthroughs in Agriculture. It’s been a progressive entrepreneurship-oriented show incorporating special features in travel and tourism, culture and the arts, and rags to riches stories of the micro entrepreneurs.

Mass Media Awards (CMMA) organized by the Archdiocese of Manila. In his acceptance speech, Francis Cardona, host-producer of the program, expressed his deepest gratitude to God who poured a lot of blessings to the program. He also thanked Radio Corporation of the Philippines led by its President, Mr. Felicismo Billones, for the support and inspiration to carry on the program, as well as Spotlite Media Services, Inc., Asenso Pinoy’s production partner and the entire production team for all the hardwork and determination to produce quality segments every week. Cardona averred, “I am greatly motivated by this recognition and I believe this shall keep our team inspired and committed to better serve our ‘kapinoys’ (fellow Filipinos) in our advocacy to promote positive values among our thousands of viewers all over the country and around the world.”

The KBP Golden Dove Awards are given out yearly by the Kapisanan ng mga Broadkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) or Association of Broadcasters in the Philippines. It aims to give due recognition to all broadcast practitioners, stations and programs for their valuable and exemplary contribution and outstanding achievements to the broadcast industry in particular and the Filipinos in general.
